Exclusive Equestrian Services, LLC is pleased to announce we have added comprehensive wellness visits to our list of services for 2016. Equine Wellness Visits may include equine sports massage therapy, equine acupressure therapy, equine nutritional guidance, FAR Infrared Heat Therapy or an integrated session combing several of the above listed modalities. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of Denise’s wealth of knowledge and continued learning as you invest in your horse’s long term health and well-being.

  •  Wellness Visit - Denise now proudly offers a comprehensive "Wellness Visit" which can include a combination of modalities such as massage or equine acupressure as well as taking the time to answer and address any nutritional concerns you may have, such as questions regarding supplement options, feeding management for specific conditions i.e. Cushing's disease, or senior diet suggestions. General questions or concerns, for example saddle fit, may also be addressed. The rate for this service is pro-rated at $95 an hour plus any additional fee for a barn call. Please mention that you would like a wellness visit when scheduling your horse's appointment so that the appropriate time will be allotted.
  •  Equine Massage Therapy - On site visits for equine massage are based on time. Rates start at $95 per hour + barn call. Generally routine sessions last about 1 hour, however, if any additional time is spent on site, such as, for an evaluation, an extended session, answering additional questions, or demonstrating stretches, the fee is pro-rated at $95.00 per hour.

All sessions include an emailed report. These notes are an in depth check list of what muscles or acupressure points are tight/reactive and to what degree they are tight/reactive. Aside from the check list, they include an image of a horse’s body that shows the areas worked on, a helpful tip and have highlights to emphasize the most reactive areas on your horse’s body.
  •  Equine Acupressure Therapy - On site visits for equine acupressure are based on time. Rates start at $95 per hour + barn call. Generally routine sessions last about 1 hour, however, if any additional time is spent on site, such as, for an evaluation, an extended session, answering additional questions, or demonstrating stretches, the fee is pro-rated at $95.00 per hour.

  •  Far Infrared Heat Therapy - We are very pleased to offer FAR infrared heat therapy for your horse. Infrared waves are divided into three groupings; near, middle and far depending on the actual wavelength measurement and can result in forms of light (near) or heat (far) that are easily absorbed by the body for healing and restorative benefit.

Studies have shown that FAR wavelengths can penetrate up to 1.5 inches beneath the skin, significantly deeper than a basic “ heating pad.” FAR infrared energy can be used to address muscle and joint discomfort, reduce inflammation and decrease muscle stiffness. The horses generally find it comforting and relaxing.

The FAR heat therapy can increase blood circulation as well as metabolic activity within cells; this delivers increased nutrients and oxygen to an attended area while removing amassed wastes and toxins. We now have these FAR heat therapy pads available which may be integrated into your horse’s massage, acupressure or integrated session. The pads are placed on various parts of your horses’s body during the bodywork.

FAR Infrared Heat Therapy may be helpful for conditions such as neck pain, back pain and overall muscular tension. If you would like this therapy added on to your horse’s session, please notify us & we will gladly do so. The cost for the FAR infrared heat therapy is $25.00 per session.

Please visit the FAR infrared heat therapy page for more information and to view photos of FAR infrared heat therapy being applied.
  •  Equine Nutritional Consultation - Equine nutritional consults start at $135 per hour. The time allotted includes prior review of blood work, hay analysis, intake form, and report preparation as well as the actual time spent on-site, or on the phone.
  •  Equine Stretching - Equine Stretching Lessons which cover technique, safety and a full demonstration are $75 per hour.
  •  Hunt Seat Riding Lessons - Denise also offers 45-minute private, one on one hunt seat riding lessons which includes safety, grooming, tacking and riding to those that own their own horses. Riding lessons cost $75.00 per lesson.
  •  Clinics and Lectures - Denise is available for clinics and lectures which are customizable and tailored to the venue and the audience. They are offered for all levels, from beginners to professional. Please contact us for more details.
  •  Barn Call Fee - Please note that in addition to the service fee, there will be a reasonable barn call fee for barns that are located ten miles and beyond from Denise’s home base in Danvers, Massachusetts. Barn call fees are structured as follows and go into effect February 15, 2016, however fees are subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel costs:
